I led the UI execution for TomTom’s new mobile navigation app, shaping a modern experience used by over 1M users. As a senior IC, I partnered with product and engineering to ship core navigation flows and user-driven improvements that supported 100% user growth during rollout.

I designed a mobile navigation experience crafted specifically for motorcycle riders, focusing on intuitive route discovery and a premium-tier strategy. The features I designed became the most-used capability in the app, while improvements to onboarding reduced drop-off by 15%, directly supporting engagement and long-term adoption.

Behind the frames
Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro I moved to Amsterdam in 2019. Currently based in Lisbon.
I thrive when product needs to move forward fast. I’m at my best helping teams cut through ambiguity by focusing on taste and craft to ship work with impact.
Most recently at TomTom, I led UI and design systems for their new flagship navigation app — taking it from zero to over 1M users. I owned the token architecture and visual language across iOS and Android, working closely with engineers to bring Figma libraries into production via JSON pipelines, so quality and speed scaled together.
Before TomTom, I was a co-founder at a design-led eyewear company in Brazil. When transitioning to digital products I have freelanced as a product designer for Nike and early-stage startups.
The mix of craft, systems thinking, and entrepreneurial drive lets me move fast, sweat the details, and keep outcomes front and center.
